And they brought guns. [/quote] What? The U.S. was dragged into WW2 kicking and screaming. It did not want to be involved until it was basically forced. Don't pretend like the 2nd Amendment had anything to do with U.S. victory.[/quote] No, I'm not saying the 2nd amendment had anything to do with US involvement in WWII. I'm saying a country willing (kicking and screaming, but willing) to go in and fight stopped fascism. And people who give their rights away -- little by little -- make themselves susceptible to fascism. [/quote]
