simply because you choose to vaccinate does not make it a safe or best choice for everyone else either. I don't tell you what to do, why do you feel entitled to force medical decisions on my family? What if I told you that my child a horrendous reaction to a vaccine but only received a temporary medical exemption?
Because your decision not to vaccinate may have a direct and negative impact on my children, that's why. If I bring my 3 month old with me to pick up my preschooler and your kid, my child's classmate, is harboring some virus because of your decision not to vaccinate, my baby is vulnerable. If you have a medical reason not to get a vaccine (e.g, an egg allergy for some vaccines), you should be able to receive the exemption legitimately. But if it is not a legitimate reason even according to medical opinion, then you should get your kid vaccinated.
