OP here. Thanks for the suggestions! My mother has a friend out here, so she is going to ask around. I would like someone who can help wth the cooking especially. Have considered just asking at my local Chinese restaurant who they may recommend. I know in Ny and LA they have places you can stay and recover, but I'm sure you can understand that I want to deliver here with my doctors and be at home.
I used to live in Singapore and definitely get what you want since while there a few of my friends who were local had their 1st kids. Is there anyway at all you could fly your mom (not sure if she is able to, etc) or an aunt or cousin who would want to do it here since its usually family anyway? Might be cheaper than hiring help here. Barring that I'd see about any nanny agencies that might have women who are ethnically Chinese in their roster- I mean often this is listed because of their cooking skills but that's kind of what you want anyway right? Could be pricey though. I'd definitely ask your favorite local restaurant if they do catering for this, even if they don't expressly offer they might be willing to do it with you off menu for delivery daily?
