Ummm...in the example (KK and Detroit) that was cited, NO WHITES RAN, NO LATINOS RAN AND NO ASIANS RAN.  So I ask again in a slightly different way, if only Black candiates ran in Detroit, who were the citizens supposed to vote for?  LOL.  Oh, and the White guy who did happen to be the best candidate for various non-racial reasons WAS elected.  So, PP may have avalid point - just used the wrong example. [/quote]
