They are supposed to vote for the best candidate regardless of color of skin.


Ummm...in the example (KK and Detroit) that was cited, NO WHITES RAN, NO LATINOS RAN AND NO ASIANS RAN. So I ask again in a slightly different way, if only Black candiates ran in Detroit, who were the citizens supposed to vote for? LOL. Oh, and the White guy who did happen to be the best candidate for various non-racial reasons WAS elected. So, PP may have avalid point - just used the wrong example.

Yes she was the NW choice where SE went for grey. NW isn't quite to the point where they can field a non-black candidate but the days of east of 16th street picking the mayor are over.

You do sound like a racist. There were plenty of reasons that voters selected Bowser beyond race. Your failure to recognize any of those other reasons is an example of why racism is not only morally wrong, but intellectually corrupting.
