According to Christianity, you can commit any sin you want and still go to heaven and long as you believe and trust in Jesus Christ and ask forgiven for your sins.   People sin repeatedly and ask forgiveness and God grants it as long as you're sincere and continue to believe.[/quote]

The "get out of jail free if you believe in Jesus" card with regards to Christianity (or at least the way many Christians practice their Christianity) has always seemed completely gross to me.  [/quote]

No, I believe to act with honest, good intention, all the time, from the get-go. I don't believe in god/religion anymore, but when I did, I believed that truly having your heart in the right place was what counted and what mattered to god. And yes, if your hear *wasn't* in the right place, you are held permanently accountable.

I still believe that in a way, just without the religion/god. We're held accountable to our conscience, and to each other as humans.
