I'm not in a school zone where people would try to sneak in (well, maybe some from the ones that are struggling even more than mine).  To me, this is just about playing fair.  We all know where the boundaries are.  Clearly the family at issues knows.  We all know that the price of housing reflects the school that it is zoned for.  These people, surely mean well for their child, but they want their cake and they want to eat it too!  I don't get to do that and I wouldn't want others to do that.  Fair is fair.  If I wanted to live in Woodson's district (or Oakton, or McLean), I would find the money to move there.  I don't want it that much, so I'm staying where I am.

I play by the rules and expect other people to play by the rules.... that's the social contract we have here.[/quote]
