MIL keeps pushing us to go away for a few days and leave our 9mo and not-quite-3yo with them. Not happening. I just say that I think they're too young/I'm not ready to be separated, and let's all plan a family vaca together instead. I like them a lot and don't want to keep them away from their grandkids - quite the opposite - but I know from experience that they're not quite up to keeping up with 2 babies/toddlers alone in their mid-70s. I know she wants the responsibility and the one-on-one time, but sorry, no way.[/quote]
