With respect to how the school is handling it, schools are not allowed to discuss corrective actions because there are children involved and frequently the bully has family issues or learning issues that make the situation complicated.  So frequently the parents of the bullied kid perceive that the school "isn't doing anything" when in reality they are working hard on addressing the situation.  But, just like personnel matters at someone's job should be confidential, disciplinary actions at schools are supposed to be confidential.

I have no children at Mundo Verde, but I do have 3rd graders elsewhere in the school system.  I think it should be noted that bullying is complicated and discussing the repercussions thereof on a public forum should be handled with extreme care - these are minors we are talking about.[/quote]
