Therapy would help.

If you want to do some self-help, start by reading "Toxic Parents" and "Mothers who Can't Love" by Susan Forward.

Come over to Reddit and read the Raised by Narcissists subreddit.  You'll see a lot of people with moms like you. It will help you understand. [/quote]
