House has a lot of potential- it's quite cluttered in the photos, but it's a good layout and spacious enough. I'd make sure there was room for 3 (you, DH and a guest) cars and a turn around spot in the driveway- It's way too tough to back out on a busy road. Backyard looks nice and fenced in- so I don't think the busy road is too big a deal because you'd prob. spend your time in the back.
+1 Nicer back yard than most of McLean. Except you would have to ensure your neighbors are not a-holes. For the price, I'd grab it. It is set back well enough. OP, if you are seriously considering a house like that, you need to check it out during rush hour. Remember, rush hour in that area is 7-10+, and 3-7+. I don't think there are any other comparisons to main roads. A main road is a main road. Heck, even some side streets in McLean are as bad, if not worse, than the main roads! Does it at least have sidewalks?
