No. No, it doesn't have to. We have well over seven figures in savings and bring in close to seven figures annually. I have NEVER spent $3,000 on clothes for my child in a year. You are throwing money away if you do that. Kids can look perfectly nice and well put-together while spending less than half that. Kids grow. Kids stain their clothes. Total waste of money. [/quote]

Seriously? It's not a waste of money if that's what they want to spend their money on. Why do you care? If someone travels a lot, is that a waste of money? If they have a hobby that is expensive, it that a waste of money? If they have the financial means to spend a lot on clothes, why not?[/quote]
