Your life is changing. Look--do you really want to be financially dependent upon your ex for the next 10 years? What about the things in life that you might want? A new car, a vacation, health insurance, new clothes, a new roof for the house when it's time....where do you expect all of this money to come from on his $65-$75K---can I assume that is gross and not net? And let's say this does happen---then where are you in 10 years? Are you planning to re-enter the workforce then? Will you start to build up your retirement in 10 years? [/quote]
