Not at all. My kids are in school all day long so I am not missing anything. I have seniority so I have a stable job and flexible schedule. I don't miss any of their day-to-day activities.
So you drop them off and pick them up from school? You must work a short day.
Not PP but when my DC was in high school the bus picked him up at 6:45 am, and I usually picked him up from sports practice at 5. I could work a full day in between. When they were in elementary school they went to aftercare and I picked them up between 5 and 6. They did their homework and had classes (like tae kwon do, private music lessons, etc) during aftercare so it was the same stuff they'd be doing if I picked them up at 3:15 and shuttled them around.
