[/quote] I am the quoted PP. Of course 9 year olds shouldn't be eating junk all the time and they should have healthy food available to them. But they shouldn't be 'watching their weight' because they want to be thin. Being thin/healthy weight should be the by product of their healthy lifestyle, not the goal. Having your grandma telling you you will be fat if you eat dessert when you are 9 is not good for the kid. [/quote]
