Tried for 6 months, got pregnant, had late first trimester mc. Tried again on our own for 6 months, was tested with no problems found. Did 3 iuis and a couple more months on our own and then did NC IVF and got pregnant first time. Got pregnant with our 2nd without trying when 1st wasn't a yr old yet.
If you can get pregnant within six months on your own you DO NOT have unexplained infertility. In fact you don't have infertility at all.
If 35 or over, yes, it is.
So completely wrong. The average (young, fertile) couple takes 5 months to get pregnant, on average. Clinics recommend you start looking at fertility treatment if over 35 when you have been trying AT LEAST six months. However, this is less than the average amount of time it takes for most 35 plus couples to get pregnant.
