You are obviously not into horses.  This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the outrageousness of what things cost, but it is something that a 9 year old horse lover would likely play with a lot and treasure for years. Au contraire.  My almost-9 year old has been taking horseback riding lessons year round for 3 years.  She has clothes, helmets, boots, gear, dolls, toys, DVDS, books, sheets, blankets, pillowcases, towels and 3 horse-shaped purse/backpacks.  But I still would not pay $45 for a plastic toy.[/quote]

Check back in with me when you have a farm, 4 horses, a truck, a trailer, and make at least part of your living riding and shoveling horse poop.  You are not yet really into horses.

Got it.  My daughter is not 'really' into horses because she doesn't own four of them and we don't all live on a farm.  Let me go tell her that.
