My 6 year old had strep two weeks ago, and had a terrible headache the first night, with a high fever, etc. We took him to the ped the next day and he had a positive strep test. Ped said headaches can be common in strep. As well as a rash (which DS had also). Call the ped's nurse's line and they'll give you good advice. I'm not usually a fan or urgent care.[/quote]
