I disagree, because OP isn't ranting about the situation - she's ranting that her sister is a self centered asshole, and probably grieving the better family dynamic she wishes they could have, and there's nothing she can do about that. The particular details of this situation is just how that is being expressed. Basically she's mourning the fact that the 'good' option of her sister being a good person simply isn't on the table.
