These days, when so much objective information is available, it's harder for religions to assume that their teachings won't be contradicted by outside information. That stuff about Jesus treating men and women equally is a new twist, too -- in some mainstream religions -- didn't use to hear much about that. It was all about women obeying their husbands.[/quote]
