We need much better trained police who understand community policing. It's about relationship-building with the community and community leaders. Pro-actively preventing crime by addressing its causes, and working with the community (the ultimate stakeholders here) to solve problems. Going through the neighborhood like bullies with billy clubs does nothing but cause more trouble. [/quote]
