It's late so I'm only going for one of your queries.  I think they'll have her touch the stones and we'll see some kind of flash of what she sees/feels, probably with Frank in it.  In the books Claire mentions a point of light or something like that that had Frank in it, so I'm thinking it will be a super quick cuts montage-y kind of thing and then back to seeing Jamie catching her/pulling her away.[/quote]

I had to buy the kindle version just to read ahead.  I read so fast to find out what happened that I missed the "fade" -- I thought it was going to be when Claire went under the cold water -- but then she woke to a redcoat and was taken to BJR.  Was the fade with Jamie before or after that part?

I do like having the accent in my head from the show when I read the book.

And the pp who referred to the spanking was being, uh, kind.  I took it that she didn't relent and he went with the beating.  I wish I could un-read that and I'll definitely skip it if it's in the show.  Seems to me like a little spanking would have worked just fine. [/quote]
