[/quote] not only self righteous, but a reading comprehension fail, as OP didn't say anything about sacrificing time with her child (who is IN SCHOOL) to work out. although, I have no issues admitting that I sacrifice time with my kids (if you count 6-7 am quality time!) to work out. My 2 and 4 year old know that Mommy exercises, and we have discussed why exercise is a healthy habit. Taking care of yourself is important, and it's even more important to teach and model for your children. As a mother, it's particularly important to me to provide a model of self-care for my daughters. Plus I just love to run.[/quote]
