Flash forward and she is now in MS and doing great.  The first day was hard for me, but she did fine.  One thing I did that I *highly* recommend is to have my husband drop off and me pick up.  Separation seems much easier for men.  I have recommended this course of action to several friends who have reported back that their kids' transitions in the mornings improved dramatically with Dad dropping off.  Anecdotal to be sure, but it worked really well for us.[/quote]
