I remember you from another post. Get out now. Yes, get a restraining order. what are you waiting for?
I think I do, too. But I seem to remember the same sort of "I was just talking to a woman, and wifey went 100% crazy for NO reason" 0% responsibility, too. OP, I doubt this is the whole truth. But if your story has some reality in it, call the police. That's what people who've been assaulted should do. Just know that, unlike DCUM, the police will get BOTH sides of the story.
Nice victim blaming. If the genders were reversed...
If the genders were reversed, I would still be incredibly suspicious of a story about sweet innocent Belle and the evil, horrible Beast. And I would give the same advice: If you've been assaulted, call the police. It's sound advice for any gender.
Are you out of your mind? The police will get BOTH sides of the story and say, "Hey, you were flirting with another woman. Sounds like you deserve what you got." Really PP?????!!!!
Am I really the only person who pauses to question the validity of the anonymous posts made on an anonymous message board? Really, PP(s)??????!!!!!!!! For as often as people call "troll" here, I'm surprised. Maybe the people jumping on me for having the audacity to think critically are the type to flip out and punch/bite/assault their spouses for merely having innocent conversations with people of the opposite sex, so this story doesn't seem weird to them. Something in this story doesn't add up. I never said OP deserved it, or any "anti male" nonsense. What I said was "If you've been assaulted, call the police." That's what people who have been assaulted should do.
He described an assault. Saying "if" implies you don't think he was assaulted. You are anti-male. Just own it. Your definition of thinking critically is victim blaming. Not a great example of critical thinking. If you don't believe of the posts on this board about women/men being assaulted and you feel the need to go into each one and tell women/men that they deserved it or it isn't the whole truth and they are at fault, then maybe you should just stay out of threads involving domestic violence.
