We had the same problem with the bosch something about how it keeps water in the resevoir to keep the pump wet. We found it helpful to essentially wash all dishes that are made with egg before putting them in, running the dishwasher at least once a day, frequently washing the trap,  and periodically running dishwasher magic.

Buy seriously I will never buy a bosch again. I had none of these problems with any other dishwasher I"ve used. My parents and brother have the same problem with their bosch...[/quote]
