I've never understood limiting one's dating pool by automatically exclusionary physical characteristics like fat, skinny, short, tall, blonde, brunette, etc.  All of these characteristics exist on a continuum.  I've met many men to whom I've not been physically attracted for one reason or another, but I've met at least as many men to whom I might otherwise have been physically attracted, but ultimately found them very unattractive because of their extreme political views or their goals for their life or just simply the way they treat other human beings.  And the other side of the attraction coin is true as well; men who might not have made me turn my head initially became incredibly, irresistibly attractive once I delved deeper than their looks.  I can't imagine automatically discounting all men below a certain height, or why men would do the same for all women over a certain weight.

I am not physically attracted to short men in general. Occasionally, a short man is so confident without being cocky that I don't really notice his height. I'm 5'5", but generally in heels. I have no issue with a guy saying he can't date me if I'm heavier than his preferred body type. Enough men appreciate my size 12 frame and almost always think I'm sexy whether 2 sizes bigger or smaller.[/quote]
