All government agencies are required to reduce energy use under executive orders. EPA has reduced energy use 25% since 2003 and water use by almost 40%. http://www.epa.gov/oaintrnt/pubs/index.htm#reports

And I do use well under the VA average of energy per household, have 1 fuel efficient car which gets driven about 7000 miles a year, buy 100% green power from dominion, and buy carbon offsets for my air travel. So I'm not too concerned about random Internet people's opinions about my hypocrisy or convictions. I also never surf porn at work and completely agree that the person in question should be fired. I have no interest in working with people who don't care about their work either.
