No, she won't be bored.  The program is not about learning vocabulary, but rather spending your school day learning the MCPS curriculum in Spanish.  The fact that she can already speak Spanish will just mean that she will be able to interact better with the teacher.[/quote]

NP here - I don't know if there are many, but I personally know two families - one in Spanish and one in French immersion - who are native speakers. In both cases, the parents were born abroad and the kids were born here and speak Spanish/French at home. The parents want them to continue to be able to speak the language as they get older and also have good grammar, be able to read/write, etc. [/quote]
