I've lived all over CA and I'd think the house were pretty odd if it didn't have a garage. Most do. And if the comment were simply about the weather, some areas regularly get 110 degree temps in summer, and others more snow than DMV in the winter. It's not as homogeneous as depicted on tv. [/quote]
