[/quote] I am a middle school teacher. Most kids give nothing (which is fine!) A few bring a plate of cookies or a trinket. This is a low income school though. My colleagues at the other side of the county regularly amass $1000 of gift cards from their students. Write a thank you card and call it a day.[/quote]
