Was impressed at the Cooke open house with the IB curriculum, and the early-childhood teachers seemed better at Cooke. Reed's building is also truly one of the worst I've been in. I know it will eventually get renovated, but I wouldn't hold my breath for DCPS to come through. With either school, though, I think people are not committed to staying past 1st grade or so--they have a long way to go.
