I wish people would decide in which arena they want their kids to get extra help.  With all the budget cuts etc, I really don't think FCPS should have to cater both to an individual child's "giftedness" and "special needs".  Meanwhile all the "average" kids get nothing extra.  (Coming from a mother of a child who could be categorized as 2E - ADD and a very fast learner/thinker.)[/quote]
