The ST from the county released him from ST because she felt he was on target with his peers at the time.  I really had/have no idea if he was 'fine' but I took my cue from the county expert assigned to me.  What concerns me now is  his inability to speak when he's upset--- but you say that doesn't strike you as unusual.  So that leaves the fact that I feel he is behind his peers ( but I'm not expert nor an SLP) and the fact that he can't retell a story.  Which one of those points makes you say that there is far more to be concerned about?  And what are the concerns that I should address at the SLP evaluation?  Thank you for your advice.[/quote]
