My son did not get in Pool. Cause he got cogAT scores 129, 131, 131 But his Composite(VQN) is 135 and Age stanine is 9 and Age percentile Rank is 99% If we referral to AAP how much he has a chance to be an eligible?? Thanks!
My son's NNT was 126 And he was born in end of June that is why his age composite and percentile is high.. I think..
well there you have it. O/T but i think this is the only case i've seen on here where NNAT is lower than all CogAt scores.
All of DC's friends and their younger sibs (small sample of 6 kids) got significantly lower scores on the NNAT in first grade compared with their CogAt or FxAt in 2nd grade (with one exception). I would think that the opposite of what PP says is true as the kids take one test and then have a whole year to work on bringing up their scores on the second one. (Prepping is the norm amongst some communities - it is the way to ensure one's child has access to the opportunities FCPS offers them - eg AAP.)
