She's lactose intolerant but I thought she was ok with cheese and yogurt but she's had a runny nose for a couple of weeks. I think it's dairy related. She will eat veggies if there is a dessert but she doesn't enjoy them. Take out grains, sugar and dairy though and the desserts become far less appealing
The runny nose might be just the season. If she has a runny nose other times it might be the dairy. OP, why do you need to not do any grains and no sugar? Are you a diabetic? Or is this some sort of "diet" thing? Many whole grains are an essential source of B12 as well as fiber. The traditional Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest in the world: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mediterranean-diet/CL00011 As is the Japanese: http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/diets-of-world-japanese-diet And the traditional Latin American diet: http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/the-latin-diet Learn how to cook and what a portion size looks like. Learning to cook will free you from depending on processed food. Involve your DD in the process. Teach her good habits now.
