What is WRONG with the PP's? Do you actually dictate every last thread of clothing and mandate certain stores in your house? Are you a communist? WTF? DDs in my house tell me what stores they like, and we go from there. If the kids at school are wearing Justice, so be it. EVERY store has "good" and "bad" looks - just like there are "good" and "bad" parents. The ignorance here never ceases to amaze me.
+100 Listen, I grew up wearing LLBean and was perfectly happy because everyone around me was preppy too. If it were up to me, DD would be wearing jeans or khaki pants and a solid turtleneck or fleece top every day in non-bright colors. I would love to get her some corduroy pants with little whales embroidered on them or a big cream colored fisherman's sweater. Alas, DD and her friends like things in bright, loud colors, sparkles and other things that I wouldn't like BUT as long as its weather appropriate and not revealing its her body. I but boundaries on how many sparkles, rhinestones, or whatever can be on something so its no so over the top its distracting in school but for the most part its her choice and they all seem to love Justice.
