Why do you need a monitor for a baby strapped to a bouncy?
The same reason you need one when they're in their crib or in your bed.
You might need a monitor if your crib is on a different floor, or otherwise far away, or if you're asleep and need a little more noise to wake you up. But there's really no reason to be far enough from your baby when they're in a bouncy in the daytime that you wouldn't be able to hear them.
