+1. Pour it in a coffee can or glass jar with lid, toss it out with the trash. If it's a small amount in a pan I'll wipe it away with a paper towel. As long as it doesn't go down the sink drain, it's all good.[/quote]

Pour it into a used tin can, stick it in the fridge or freezer to harden up.  Dump it in the trash the morning of or day b/f.  Make sure your trash can has a tight fitting lid, so you don't attract critters.[/quote]

I have to agree with this, as this has already happened to me and it was a real mess.  Now I keep a can in the fridge with grease in it, sometimes I just have an empty open can in the fridge so I will never again be in the position where I have grease and don't have a can to pour it into.  [/quote]
