If they won't take care of teachers that fight and act belligerently towards students...I doubt that they would handle peer on peer dynamics well.  I read online about slap behind (not the word used) week.  From going to the open house, I see an utter lack of control.  I'm sure the environment works well for smart kids who can handle a tough school environment. [/quote]

I think the "beautiful daughter" poster was actually referring to Clemente.

That slap-ass week thing at Eastern is from TWO YEARS ago and has been so totally overblown on this board.  The admin dealt with it and it was done, and if you think that kind of stuff doesn't happen in the "good" MoCo schools, you are kidding yourself.  I am at Eastern frequently and during the day it's as quiet and controlled as any middle school.  I honestly think that people walk in there and if it's black/brown kids who are loud and boisterous, it's categorized as rough, but the same behavior by white kids in Bethesda is not seen in the same way.
