Someone mentioned something about seeing if the mortgage company will work with us. They already are but it is coming toward the end of the time frame they can help. They did say if we need more time, we can have it extended 6 more months which is what I plan on doing. The other option I am thinking is asking them if they can do something more long term, like refi the mortgage, home equity and the credit cards. Wondering if in the end it will all be worth it but if the mortgage calculators I am looking at and the interest I am inputting would be what they can offer us, I am coming up with a potential of $700 savings per month compared to what we pay now. Can't hurt to ask.[/quote]
