I would avoid Anil, Ajay, Amir, etc. Americans will never get the pronunciation right. Your boy will go through life as "AJ, Ah-MEER," etc. Never mind the Anal point above. When we went through this, I was surprised to find Neal and Jonathan on lists of Indian boys' names. Didn't seem that Indian to me, but they're out there. [/quote]
