You could meet some pleasant parents whose kids could have similar interests. The Basis Boosters parents I've met are very friendly and open to meeting for "playdates" of a sort in which the kids hang out or go somewhere together and the parents chat about the school. It's a good way to compare notes about the classes and social aspects of Basis. Try some of the Basis social activities, too, like tonight's Teaism event (which is already over), the upcoming potluck and the Nats games (you can still get on the waitlist). Dances will be held throughout the year, starting with the Halloween Dance. My introverted DS had a great time.[/quote]
