Some families are just like this. We had to cut our week at the beach 2 days short to attend my nephew's bris (where we barely laid eyes on him, and certainly couldn't hold him because there were 75 people there.) He's turning two soon and my SIL is having not 1, not 2, but THREE days in a row of birthday events for him. As in, cookout Friday night, party Saturday afternoon, brunch Sunday morning. Sorry but I DO NOT want to spend my entire weekend at her house. It seems so self-centered to me. [/quote]
