The anti-chafing gel REALLY helps prevent makeup from settling into the fine lines around my eyes. Learned about it from a Disney board.

I do agree with a PP that taking care of your skin in the first place helps to minimize the need for makeup. So stay well hydrated, eat right and use a lotion that works for your skin, use anti-wrinkle potions, etc.

I do think it is worth it to go to a makeup counter (or Sephora: no commission) to have someone find a good match for foundation and teach you how to best enhance your face. Another advantage of Sephora is that they carry multiple lines so there are more options for matching your skin tone and needs.[/quote]
