I wouldn't buy that house if you have an aversion to sending your kids to Marshall and they are young.  FCPS has talked about eliminating split feeders and Lemon Road is a split feeder that goes mostly to Marshall.  It could be sent entirely to Marshall in the future.  I have no aversion to Marshall.  We're in the Marshall boundaries by choice. I just thought I'd point that out since you mention the schools.[/quote]

Lemon Road ES physically sits wihin the McLean boundaries and all the homes east of Pimmit Run assigned to Lemon Road, including this house, go to McLean.  FCPS can always change boundaries, but this change isn't one they've suggested yet may be coming.  They have talked about moving other areas currently zoned for McLean and Marshall to Cooper/Langley, but have not made a formal proposal.  What happens down the road when there is more housing in Tysons is anyone's guess. [/quote]
