If they will be filmed up here, presume that they will be getting paid something by TLC.  Certainly not enough to buy a house in Chevy Chase or in high end portions of Arlington, but possibly enough to be closer in than Loudon.

My guess is that Anna (the wife) will likely have more culture shock than he does, even as a SAHM.  In DC your average SAHM usually has a good education and pre-kid resume of her own right.  Finding friends may be tough.  Who knows, maybe not.[/quote]

I didn't suggest that they'd live in Loudoun because they couldn't afford somewhere closer.  I suggested it because you know there's no chance in hell they'll live in DC or PG (liberals and brown people, you know), Montgomery is part of the Socialist Republic of Maryland, Arlington is nearly as bad, and even Fairfax is purple/bluish.  No, Loudoun is as close as they'll be willing to come.  Why, the good folks of Loudoun have even elected a patriot like Eugene Delgaudio to the Board of Supervisors, although insidious followers of Satan are conspiring to lay him low and limit his influence on the Board.
