There are public schools (free), parochial (religious AND heavily subsidized by the Catholic Church) and private (possibly religious, not subsidized). The result is that there is a VERY different feel at privates versus parochial. Georgetown Prep and Paul VI are worlds apart even though both are Catholic. St. Alban's is NOT parochial --it is private and Episcopalian. Private schools do not view parochial schools as their equal. Just telling it like it is. Fight on! [/quote]
