Nope she’s been here her whole time. There are 6 classes and nearly [b]everyone in her class is new to her[/b] except for some of the boys. I’m not sure if [b]the other kids are new students or just were in other classes in previous grades.[/b] It’s recess she doesn’t have friends at. For lunch she can at least talk to her friends in the lunch line sometimes. It seems dumb to me you can’t choose where you sit but I’m sure they had issues with open seating. [/quote]

You just said it again - that the kids are new students and everyone in her class is new to her. But she's spent ALL YEAR with these kids - if she hasn't made friends to play with at recess then she needs more time do build friendships. Nobody who started in August/September is NEW anymore. It's the END of the school year. Regardless, you don't stay home unless you're sick. [/quote]

This happened to me 50 (!!) years ago in 5th grade, in a school I had attended since kindergarten. I didn't know any of the girls in the class at the beginning of the school year, and only a couple of the boys. It was weird. I never had any problem with bullying and was a pretty self- sufficient kid who did ok in those circumstances, but I didn't make friends with any of the girls that entire year. I never before or after had trouble making friends. I just didn't click with anyone that year. Sometimes that happens.

At this point in the year, OP's DD spending one more day in the company of these kids is not going to make any relationships suddenly materialize. Quit being a jackass. [/quote]
