My only issue was that after school activities were cancelled and it's not easy to pivot to picking up your kid. I tried to use the carline to pick up (because it's raining) but was told, no, your kids are walkers. So I had to park at my house and walk up to get the kids. I get that you can't just pick up kids any old way you want, but some flexibility would be nice in inclement weather. This is probably just my principal though. Also, my kids are little (and thus I can't text my kids directly) so I'm sure it's frustrating for teachers to get messages about where the kids are going after school when aftercare isn't open.
